Christopher Bush is an Atlanta-based cinematographer and photographer whose work explores the relationship between light, emotion, and identity. Drawing from both narrative filmmaking and editorial photography, he approaches every project as a visual experiment, developing a look that grows from the story rather than applying the same style to every frame.

Chris earned his B.A. in Mass Media Arts from Clark Atlanta University before completing his M.S. in Television, Radio & Film at the Newhouse School at Syracuse University. His work spans narrative films, fashion editorials, music videos, commercial campaigns, and documentary storytelling, with each project approached through its own unique visual language.

A Word From Chris

What's up, I'm Chris. For me, cinematography and photography are ways of making sense of the world. I'm interested in the moments where light changes how we see a person, where fashion becomes identity, and where an image can communicate something words never could.

I don't believe every story should look the same. Whether I'm shooting on digital, 16mm, or 35mm, my goal is always to find the visual language that best serves the story. Some projects call for clean precision, others ask for warmth, texture, or imperfection. That's what keeps me creating: the opportunity to discover something new every time I pick up a camera.

At the end of the day, I hope my work invites people to slow down, look closer, and feel something.
